Motor shafts are highly customized based on the end-use and environment in which the motor operates. Considerations include temperature, harsh environments, exposure to dust, and maintenance cycle expectations. At Huayan Tech, these types of environmental or temperamental considerations are our bread and butter, we’ve made a name for ourselves producing highly custom and complex shafts for unique and niche end-markets. 

Based on design requirements and applications, a motor shaft may be manufactured in a variety of alloys ranging from relatively inexpensive carbon steels to more expensive stainless steel or even nickel-based or cobalt-based superalloys.
